A Mail-Order Dream

He pressed his lips together, trying to stifle his laugh. He knew she was right. Thomas and Phoebe hated going to sleep without a kiss from him, and Lizzy, their one year old daughter, was just as bad.

He carried her the rest of the way to their room in silence and quietly closed the door behind them, before they burst into laughter, and undressed as quickly as possible between kisses.

Real life was so much better than any dream.
